Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026

Our Commitment

Dr. Viktoria Lemberikman MD, FABPMR is committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

We believe that everyone deserves equal access to health information and care coordination — regardless of how they interact with the web. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to review and improve this site.

Measures We Have Taken

  • Semantic HTML with appropriate heading hierarchy on all pages.
  • A visible skip navigation link at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation.
  • All interactive elements — links, buttons, form fields — have visible focus indicators.
  • Images include descriptive alternative text.
  • Color contrast meets or exceeds the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text.
  • The site does not use autoplaying audio or video.
  • Forms include clearly associated labels and descriptive error messages.
  • The site is operable with a keyboard alone (no mouse required).
  • Pages have descriptive title elements for screen reader users.
  • The site is designed to be usable at 200% browser zoom without loss of content or functionality.

Known Issues and Limitations

We are aware that accessibility is an ongoing process and that some content or functionality may not yet meet our full target standard. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know (see below) — your feedback directly informs our improvement priorities.

Third-party embedded content (such as scheduling portals operated by external vendors) may fall outside our direct control. We work with vendors to encourage accessibility improvements and will offer alternatives where possible.

How to Report an Accessibility Issue

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, or if you find content that is not accessible, please contact us. We take all feedback seriously and aim to respond within 5 business days.

When reporting an issue, it helps to include:

  • The URL or page where you encountered the barrier.
  • A brief description of the problem.
  • The assistive technology or browser you are using (if applicable).

In-Person Accommodations

We are also committed to physical accessibility at our clinic. Our office is located in an ADA-accessible building. If you require a specific accommodation for your visit — such as a sign language interpreter, large-print materials, or assistance with paperwork — please let us know when you book your appointment so we can make arrangements in advance.

We do not charge patients for reasonable accommodations.

Standards and Guidelines

This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We use automated accessibility testing (axe-core) and manual review as part of our development process. Accessibility audits are conducted before major releases.
